I need your help blogimunity

I has come to my  attention that I can't seem to find a fitting name for my "oh so sexy, gentle, caring, witty, smart, protecting, hunk of man meat" character that fits him like a tight t-shirt.
I am asking for some help friendsies.. I need something that rolls off the tongue, something that defines but isn't a cliche'd name... I need something original but not shall I say, stupid?

Any ideas?

If I get a bunch, I'll try to put up a poll..maybe add a prize for the winning name giver :)

I also forgot to add...the story is current..if that helps My MC is Irish, living in NY.. He is, well..not sure..from another land or something..idk bout that yet.

How about Brad Pitt? Oh, that's one been taken. Rats. All the good ones are.

How about Blake Standish. Sounds too Victorian? Double rats. Names are hard.

You have a lovely blog, Roland

Grant Anderson! Let me know what you think!

Alastar, Alec, Bran, Brogan, Caden, Cael, Callahan, Cavan, Conan (really, it's an irish name), Conway, Cullen, Darach, Delaney, Devin, Doran, Driscoll, Donovan, Eoghan (yo-wen), Fergus, Garrett, Hanley, Keelan, Lucas, Nioclas, .... I found them here! http://www.20000-names.com/male_irish_names_03.htm

Good luck! :D

Sug,

I currently have a character in a story named "Raif." It is a very Eastern European name - not very Irish, but it goes with my MC.

How about Caleb? I would say "James" for my own vanity but that is simply too common a name.

From Elizabeth's lists, I like Cael, Doran and Rowan. I liked some others, but these both roll well and are NOT over used. (and don't call anything contrary to mind--for instance I love the name Fergus, but not for a lustable--more a best friend or something... Garrett is too proper, Delaney and Donavan to teenish)

That is so frustrating. I usually base my characters on people I know and can't find it in me to change the names. Needless to say I lose many friends!

Pretty blog, great writing
