Losing weight update

Today is the one week mark for my South Beach Diet. I am happy with the loss but not as happy as I want to be. In one week, the first week, I've lost a total of 6 pounds.
I know that is good but I was hoping for more.
I noticed I haven't been getting all my water in, just alot of diet pepsi, so this weeks plan:
Drink my water!! All of it!!
We'll see if that helps this week.

I am doing great so far sticking to the plan, we went to see Eclipse on Saturday and I didn't even have any popcorn! That was soooo hard, but I felt so proud of myself that I stood my ground against the evil stuff.

Off to fill up my water bottle and plan this weeks journey.
Anyone can email me or comment and we can have fun losing together!

Have a great day!

Great job! You don't want to lose the weight too quickly as that is not healthy. It sounds like you are on the right track. Now...if only I could get motivated to just START!

SO proud of my baby sis. You keep trying no matter what, and that is what is important. Keep it up, kiddo. Call your sister sometime, huh? Love you so much!

Wow, six pounds is truly an achievement to be proud of. But, I must say this one thing, and please don't hate me for it ... GET OFF THE CARBONATED SODA! I know this is most difficult but it will unlock the magic of weight loss.

But really, I just wanted to tell you what a great job you've done in your first week. and to encourage to to keep at it while maintaining balance in your life. Don't get down on yourself if you fall off (or on) the wagon once in awhile. And, be happy with your body and your presence as this is more important than what others think. Do the diet for health benefits and the opportunity to have a greater choice in clothes not to satisfy humanity's warped sense of beauty. Ok, I guess it's alright to have a soda on occasion.

I have to agree with the losing the diet pepsi. Or any pop(soda) for that matter. Its got nothing you need and a whole mess of stuff you dont. Studies have actually shown women actually tend to hold on to or gain weight when drinking diet pop. The six pound loss is great!!! good for you!!! Keep up the good work

Congrats, Sugar! You're doing great! Keep up the attitude and the efforts! (and 6 pounds is A LOT--in reality, the slower we lose, the more likely we are to keep it off, though I KNOW it is far more encouraging to start fast THEN drop to the 1-2 pound a week pace)
