Hinderance

I wanted to use Frustruation but Hinderance is on the list today. We come up to brick walls and have to keep beating our heads against them until either, one-our heads explode or two-they give way. I prefer option two. But it seem like lately option one is what life seems to have given us. I mean us, my family. No matter what we try-paying off bills to purchase our first home, teaching our kids to be responsible and respectful, our health issues, which we seem to have one after another..no matter what, we find ourselves face to face with that ugly brick wall. I think the only option, one that I have used forever.. is to just find a way over or through it. It seems like there isn't a way, but eventually a little path reveals itself. It seems that wall has found us again today, my dad's workers comp claim was denied, but I am determined to fight this and win! I will break through that damn wall and find the peace on the other side.
But as for now, I am going to make some cards and scrapping items for some challenges, since that seems to bring me the most peace so far. Then I have some wonderful new ideas for my writing, perhaps starting a new blog (shhh) it's a secret. Only time will tell.
As of right this moment, this hinderance is just a puddle, and we will get past this one, just like we always do!

Hi,
Keep your courage up, friend! Hindrances just give us opportunity to test our mettle, and to make us stronger! God has made a pattern for each of our lives, just trust in Him to help you, and He will.
Best regards to you,
Ruby

Great post! I'm totally with you on the health issues. No matter what else is going on, good or bad, there's always some health issue going on in my family!

Don't give up, life does have some frustrations! Over, through, I have found that going around works better for me, as you have guessed, sometimes a path untraveled or unthinkable a few days ago. Blessings, jane

Yes, we all step in puddles every day, whether deep or shallow we still have to wade through them. Keep your chin up :)

*sending hugs* You know what I hate? That those obstacles get thrown up and those with the least... whatever it is... confidence, gumption, chutzpah... get knocked back and give up and only those with resources can get through. It makes you though, thankful to be one with the chutzpah to keep on going, and your dad is lucky to have you fighting for him.

I know in theory, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger, but I am still not sure why we can't opt for a tropical island and blissful weakness... at least from time to time.
